The signup form follows this Acceptable Use Policy. By signing up for a Llama Communications hosting package you agree to the following statements. Failure to comply with these rules can result in the termination of your account, as well as possible legal action.

SECURITY

Any attempt to compromise the security of Llama Communications servers or any accounts therein is prohibited.

LEGAL USE

Services provided by Llama Communications may be used for lawful purposes only. Unlawful use includes storage and distribution of illegal materials, text, and files. Unacceptable materials include, but are not limited to:

Copyrighted MP3s
Pirated software or "warez"
Program serial numbers
Pornography or other adult material

CGI

Customers with User CGI access may install any CGI scripts they wish. However, Llama Communications reserves the right to disable any CGI script which is deemed a security hazard by our staff.

FOREIGN BINARIES

Foreign binaries are not allowed on the system. If there is a program you would like us to install for you, please ask. Remember, we sell web space. We do not sell general purpose shell accounts.

EMAIL

Llama Communications does not allow spamming or mail bombing. Spamming is considered sending any mass unsolicited messages via email or newsgroups. Mail bombing is considered to be sending multiple messages without significant new content to the same person or group of persons.

RESELLING OF SERVICES

Services provided by Llama Communications are not permitted to be resold to other individuals or organizations. This includes, but is not limited to, reselling of server space or resources, such as email accounts. The only exclusion to this policy is banner advertisements. Llama Communications allows customers to sell banner advertisements on their site. However, Llama Communications will be an arbiter regarding content of the advertisement. All advertisements must follow the guidelines described in this Acceptable Use Policy. If an advertisement violates these guidelines, Llama Communications reserves the right to remove the advertisement in question.

DENIAL OF SERVICE

Llama Communications reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

ACCOUNT TERMINATION

Any violation of these policies may result in immediate termination of services without notification. These policies are considered to be general guidelines and are not exact interpretations of the rules and regulations of services provided by Llama Communications Corporation.

Note: It is the customer’s responsibility to notify Llamacom.com, if they are cancelling.

Llama Communications will be the sole arbiter of what constitutes a violation of these policies.
